A special person in my life had recently had their pure 18k gold necklace snapped and way beyond repair. This fine piece of jewelry was a fine augmentation to outfits from formal attire to business and was cherished greatly. I wanted to surprise them by providing a replacement to wear when going out so I had originally purchased a similar chain necklace at an allegedly assumed reputable source that offered high quality gold plated necklace. I have heard and learned of this source via social media and thought it was a guaranteed satisfied purchase on my end. For the product to come in and for the price I paid I was significantly disappointed. I spent a small fortune on a simple small Cuban necklace for it to look like children play jewelry.
I was fortunate enough however to have my complaints lead into a solution. A colleague of mines heard what I had to say and saw the item I had purchased. They agreed to my statement and thus recommended me to a local artisan starting out; this was Milir Jewelry.
Browsing at the available options I was lucky to find the length and thickness of a chain I had originally purchased by sending them a message. Since the price was vastly lower than the jewelry I purchased from the reputable source I felt as if I had nothing to lose. With the additional discount I got for my first purchase it did not hurt me at this point to give it a try. If the item was not as expected I could find solace that I was supporting a small business trying to break in where there are already many other businesses with established clientele.
I had received my purchase in less than a week, and I can say I was immensely appalled. Appalled that the item I have received was immaculate and pristine and compared to the original piece I purchased that was ten times the price. I would have assumed at first glance that Milir necklace was of the expensive end. The sheen, the color, and the luster of the necklace closely resembled what I was originally replacing even though gold plated is not the same as pure gold. But the side by side comparison between Milir's product and what I was replacing, one could not differentiate between the two without in-depth investigation.
Overall my thoughts of this purchase was no more than a god sent in my time of need. I needed the perfect gift for a perfect someone and I was on a time crunch. I had exactly one week to secure a gift that would be wowing and Milir did not disappoint.
Communication with Milir also far exceeded my expectation, I wanted to replace the original jewelry as close as possible, but reaching out a similar product was recommended. Even though I didn't secure a small Cuban chain, the Figaro was beautiful especially on the person it was intended for. Although my review may lead some readers in suspicion that it is to generate an impressive review for this product. I am only genuinely expressing my opinion and how happy I was to receive a star struck product for the price I paid. It was a gift that I was more than proud to present to a person very meaningful in my life, and I was even more so proud that even though I couldn't afford a solid gold chain replacement; I was at least able to give one that looked even more beautiful than the one I was replacing as the first piece of jewelry to my special person.
